The Florida Cat Fund has money and the ability to issue bonds, but would still fall nearly 2 billion short and be broke as well. If we hit 2 storms in 1 season like 2004 when 4 hit Florida, watch out.  You can look at this form several perspectives, but we all know that another Hurricane will hit, it just depends if it hits Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach or Miami Dade or a farmland area that does not have as much property damege. The damage would still be there, but the property damage affects the Cat Fund and Citizens Insurance  as well. This season has had 3 storms hit Florida already, but none were even as bad as Wilma and heavens if we have another Wilma or even worse an Andrew.Please call L & S Insurance at 1-888-244-7400 for quotes on Home, Auto, Flood, Business & Commercial and Life Insurance quotes as well.Please enhoy the fullarticle below;
