A bill was passed last year and within days a lawsuit was filed of course. Now a new course of action could come and make us a Tort state and require everyone to carry Liability Insurance at 25/50 minimum with medical payments and remove PIP coverage as unnecessary coverage. This is what should have been done last year but it fell on deaf ears. To much Lobby money comes in, but PIP fraud is still rampant and in Fort Lauderdale and most of S.
