I think we may be getting greedy already!! The reason is we have included Louisiana. Florida is a stae where Flood policies with FEMA are profitable by a 3-1 margin. I believe the Louisiana numbers are reversed. Why would we want a non profitable state in this program. This could be where the problems begin as the greed grows. The one problem is that the program will be backed by Lloyds of London, but we will not have our Government to go to for disaster assistance when and if this begins. On the positive side, people in High Risk areas all over Tampa, Tarpon Springs area and Fort Lauderdale and Miami could all save a bundle and the program could also be a success. Time will tell and we will see how this proceeds. Please call L & S Insurance at 1-888-244-7400 for quotes on Home, Auto, Flood, Business & Commercial and Life & Financial products as well.
