The Senate passed the bill on a 2-1 margin, but the House of Representatives will not be so easy. Many Republicans do not want to tamper with the bill especially the ones from Texas & Georgia who are on the committee as well. The senate bill removes price reforms and the House will try a modified version. Still seems like party lines are drawn and the Private Flood market is looking better and better. Even if the vote passes, there will still be issues to deal with in 3-4 years after all of the Feasibility studies are done by FEMA.
